I received a copy of this collection from the publisher via NetGalley in return for an honest review. Borges once said that there is no good or bad poetry, there are only verses that evoke feelings in us... and verses that don't.
I enjoyed
Dangerous Things and
This is Not a Poem About How My Mother Thinks I'm Fat, but the rest of the poems didn't make me feel
anything, except that Jennifer Recchio was trying too hard to be funny.
I think that this is the kind of poems that can be enjoyed more by people who normally don't read poetry.
